Launching one pattern, preparing a next one. That’s what I’ve been doing last week. I’ve sewn 4 Lotta dresses in total yet and today I would like to show you my 3rd option! What options did I figure out for you? As you’ve seen before I love pockets. So the bodice part of this pattern stays the same, but I will provide 3 pocket options & 3 options to close the bodice at the back. No more excuses of those people that don’t like blind zippers…. ;)
So let’s talk about the second pocket & closure options… I have repeated the shape of the collar again in 2 patch pockets. (Is this name of the pocket right? Any help is welcome! ) And for the closure I created an overlap that closes with a button placket. Easy! And if you now think: I don’t like to make buttons holes, well than I think you might like the 3rd option I’ll be showing you on Wednesday…
I took Nore & Lisa to our famous Middelheim Statues Park in Antwerp and we had so much fun taking these pictures… The weather has been great in Belgium! I love it!

And when you put two little monkeys together you can get hilarious pictures! Crazy girls. ‘Zottekes’!
I must say that I’ve been enjoying developing this pattern a lot! I made 4 Lotta dresses and I’m still not getting bored of the result. I love it so far. Can you imagine that even my pink dress is a big success now!? I’ll be showing you some pictures with Lisa later this week!
But first let’s get back to the pattern test. I’ll have the pattern and instructions ready by Friday and I would love to find 8 testers that can give me feedback by the 21st of April. I’m working towards a pattern testers group. This way I will not have a testers call anymore for each project / size. For this project I’m looking for a tester for these sizes: 18 months, 2Y, 4Y, 6Y, 7Y, 8Y, 9Y, 10Y. Do you feel like participating? You can subscribe below. - sew a Lotta dress & give feedback before the 21st of April.
- send me pictures on a hanger & with a model.

- the final pattern when it’s released
Deze versie is echt top! En die knoopjes achteraan… echt mooi! Ze versterken de knoopjes op de voorkant. Ik vind de Lottajurk alsmaar mooier!

i love it too ! and i could test a 4 YO or a 7 YO.
Ik vind het kleedje steeds mooier worden. De details aan de hals die terugkomen in de zakjes, de knoopjes op de rug, … Ik ben fan en heb mij dan ook snel opgegeven om dit patroon uit te testen. Een patroontest die samenvalt met een schoolvakantie, ideaal!!! En nu ‘fingers crossed’ !!!
Elke nieuwe versie die ik zie, vind ik nog mooier dan de vorige. Die knoopjes achteraan zijn een heel tof nieuw detail. O ja, ik zou dus heel graag testen – een testronde in de schoolvakantie, het kan niet beter!
Lovely dress. I’ve discovered sewing 9 months ago for my litlle ones and love it. I would love to test your new pattern with my beginner’s level ;-) hope to here from you.
But tester or not tester, I’m convinced it’ll be in my to do list when it is released !!!

Ja met 4 kleindochters (3 die in aanmerking komen) wil ik dit jurkje zeker is testen : maten 4,7 en 9 komen in aanmerking.

Ziet er weer super uit! Het testen van een 10 jaar durf ik niet meer… Nora wordt in mei 10 en ik vrees dat de jurk te klein zal zijn :-( Ik heb wel twee nichtjes die ik van jurkjes wil voorzien, maar de ene is drie en de andere pas 9 maanden… ( dus dat levert problemen voor aan-foto’s) … Boehoe!

Hi! I’ve said I would prefer a size 2 and could sew a 4 also. Actually I would prefer to make it size 6, I will be in Portugal and can test it for my big niece…. She is a great model so I would prefere to make fotos of the dress on her! :-) Should I fill another form?
