Today Dorothee is my last contributor for this week. Tomorrow I’ll show you my creation but I’m not really a contributor, am I? ;)
When Dorothee sews, it’s like magic! I love everything she makes. Really! I’m sure her girl is one of the best dressed girls ever. Especially to go to the animal farm. Which I had the same outfit to be honest. So perfect and colourful! Thanks a lot Dorothee for the lovely inspiration.
On the second challenge for the contributors I decided to make the Mara blouse. Marte asked Art Gallery to sponsor the challenge this time. They were so kind to donate each one of us 2 pieces of fabric. One cotton or knit, both in the same print but in different colour variations. And one solid coloured piece of fabric.
I choose this fabric in shades of pink, blue, green and brown,…. most to my taste. But I must admit that I really like the other fabric too now I have seen some of the previous creations.
For the finishing I used some cute yellow buttons and elastic button loops with a touch of gold.
Of course no Mara blouse is complete without something beautiful to wear it on!
An easy to make gathered skirt made from a piece of green fabric I still had lying around in combination with a gold/pink elastic band.
We are almost done!
But first I drink my tea and pet my cheep!
I simply adore this combination… all set and ready to go to the children’s farm!
