I discovered the patterns of Marte for the first time via the Louisa Dress Tour and directly wanted to sew my own version.
I loved it so I was impatient to sew my version of the Mara blouse and was even more excited to participate to this big blogtour. I bought a few months ago some lovely Liberty Betsy fluo-thé bias tape – just love it! – and I wanted to associate it with the fabric of an old dress of mine.
The Mara blouse was just the perfect pattern to do so!
I really like the fact that you have so many options. For this version (this will definitively not be the last one) I chose the butterfly sleeves. I love the result.
The 7 YO was perfect for Maïlys (who is 7 YO ;-) ), I just made a few modifications. No third button for my daughter’s comfort – she can be a little picky sometimes and for me to add the bias tape I love so much inside the collar, that I also put inside the sleeves.

Nice version for older girls. Have to keep that in mind!
this is a beautiful version! I love the solid fabric, and the bias tape just adds the right pop of color! Great job!
Your fabric choices make it look very sophisticated. I love that you used the same colourful fabric for the piping AND the button loops. Nice touch.
O! I love this version! Very beautiful combination of the fabric and piping! Love the colours with the grey. Love it!
