Not so long ago I bought the Louisa dress pattern.
My daughter and I were immediately fan of the pattern after the first version was sewn for New Years Day. When I heard about the contest, I could of course not wait to start sewing my own special version.
In these gray days of winter I thought a little color would be nice, so I chose fabric in my 2 favorite colors, red and blue. I cut the pattern and added a couple of extra lines and a little collar. I went for the option with short sleeves. On the sleeve and bottom hem I added a contrasting decorative stitch.
On the day with probably the worst weather possible we went to take pictures. Despite of the cold wind my daughter did great! She loves her new dress.

Yes we went to the train station in Leuven. She was terribly cold but did great!
