Last Nina + give away!

Today I’m showing you my last Nina skirt. A wearable muslin again! Not wearable for me anymore but this skirt (and the one with the floral print) just found a new happy owner. Thanks Leen for adopting my Nina skirts! :)

This fabric was one of my all-time favourite prints that I bought at Bobby Sewing. But in the meanwhile I forgot the brand. So typically me. Sorry! The perfect summer fabric. Although this skirt was sewn a while ago, I know Joanna has a little bit of this fabric left.

You can’t tell from the pictures but I closed this waistband by hand. Lately I always take my time for this step. This way you don’t see a stitching line on the waistband. A beautiful way to finish your Nina. Do you ever take your time to finish garments by hand. I do for the waistbands, but I never finished a hem by hand. I should definitely give it a try!

I hope you enjoyed the introduction of the Nina pattern so far? On Monday a great pattern tour starts! 14 seamstresses from all over the world will be showing you their interpretation of my pattern. The first person that can tell me in how many different countries these talented ladies live wins a free digital copy of the Nina pattern! And I’ll make it a bit more difficult: add a small list of those countries! (You may participate once per person.) Make sure to come back next week. Have a nice weekend!
