It’s been 12 days since I showed my last Louisa coat. Oops! But I think you can already guess why… The Louisa coat pattern is ready and being printed at this very moment!!! Hooray! On Thursday you can buy the pattern in my shop. Finally! I started this project on the 1st of September. Can you imagine?
Let’s talk about the last extra options in this versatile pattern: You’ve all been asking for a hood, so obviously I added one. It was actually this hood that made me add the extra lines at the back. This way you have such great options to play with piping. You know by now that I’m a piping lover, so I hope you are ready to sew meters of piping?
See what I mean on the picture above? This contrasting piping is what I love most! And of course at the front pockets too.
Another new and last option is an extra cuff. A practical and aesthetic extra touch.
And now a close look at the inside. This is the zipper option. I combined a thrifted fabric on the outside with one of the amazing Arizona fabrics from Art Gallery. An oldie that I treasured for a couple of years.
I hope you love these new options too? I think this Louisa coat looks really different from the ‘vintage curtain one‘. If you’d sew a Louisa coat, what options would you select? Exciting to hear from you!
