A while ago I mentioned on Facebook that I had never sewn with a Liberty of London fabric before. Well… I can delete Liberty from my ‘to sew with’ list, because today I can finally present my first Liberty project ever. :) It was a great gift from Cousette that made me just go for it!
I can confirm that the quality is amazing to work with. But you probably already knew that! Haha….
I can tell you a little secret you didn’t know yet: Liberty is too light weighted to properly present the general fit of the Nina. :( I just thought this fabric was too cute not to use. Should have considered twice…
Anyway… Both Lisa and Nore never ever want to wear pants, but this ‘broekrok’ is an exception. They love it! I wash this Nina and the next day it’s been worn again. What more does a ‘sewing mother’ want?
And of course I don’t have to tell you that the Nina is perfect to play with during the summer!? (And I kept shouting: don’t slide with your Liberty Nina, please!?!?!?!?!)
I’d rather jump if I where you Nore! :)
Zalige foto’s!
Die laatste foto is zalig…
Ja, echt mooi, ik ben fan!!!
Mercikes. Topmodel! M
Nina looks gorgeous in Liberty. The fabric is very light, I’m surprised at how well it worked for Nina. I have just finished making something in the same fabric. To be honest I was unsure about the fabric for kids at first but I absolutely love it now.
Yes me too! This could have really turned out badly but it didn’t! Lucky me. :)
There is nothing more a sewing mama would want ;) Nina is gorgeous on kids! My little one is anti-pants also. I should probably try this pattern! I have ever bought 30 cm of Liberty, and used it for a yoke and in seam pockets (oh yeah I am crazy like that) for R’s Mara dress last year.
Thanks Jenya!
This is so adorable! Love it! and such a cute model!
Thanks a lot!
