In this first part of the 2nd Louisa coat pattern tour day, I’m redirecting you to 4 amazing blogs. But make sure to come back again because my last participant doesn’t have a blog of her own so I gave her a separate blogpost! To show her 2(!) amazing coats!
But first let’s introduce you to Kim(berly). :) It’s the first time that she’s participating in my tour, but she was so enthusiastic about the first coat previews that I absolutely wanted to ask her to be part of the tour. She lives with her family in Northern California. Although she has a slightly different style, I love everything she makes! When I see a certain name appearing regularly in my IG comments I just have to see who’s behind the name. When I opened her feed, I was so nicely surprised, that I immediately invited her for the tour. Make sure to have a close look at her Louisa coat! Don’t you love the total outfit? The coat, the shoes, the flower, the pictures and her cutie pie! Thanks a lot Kimberly for the cuteness overload!
Now let’s head over to Els’ coat! Els has been in my tester’s panel for a while now. Thinking that she has already sewn several coats, I was super exciting to see her version. But on our photoshoot day, she told me that this is her very first coat ever! Really? I couldn’t believe it! And when I read her blogpost this morning I was even more surprised. She already bought her girls a winter coat but still she felt like participating in the test; Now that’s what I call dedication. A great tester to cherish! Especially since she’s the best proofreader ever. She thinks she’s picky, I think it’s so useful. Thanks a lot Els for this cute Louisa coat and the great moment with Lene. I love the result a lot. Can’t wait to read the details on the matching outfit you made your daughter! I hope you will read along with me? Hop over to Lielebeesje now!
This time Saskia joined to testers team too! She took her super cute girl to the photoshoot and I was so happy that she joined us two times. She has sewn two super cute coats, but this is my personal favourite one as she used fabrics that she bought from me. Actually it’s a curtain too. With one of my favourite Art Gallery fabrics ever. Such a cute retro feel, don’t you think. Head over to her blog to catch a glimpse of her 2nd coat too!
Another blogger that bought one of my personal fabrics is Evi. To be honest I wouldn’t expect this vintage style green fabrics on her daughter, but when I saw the result, I was blown away. The colour suits her daughter so well!! Adding some terry fabric was a great idea. This Louisa looks so cosy, don’t you think? More info on her blog! Thanks a lot Evi for being part of the team! Now that you’ve sewn several coats I guess you will never every buy a coat again?
Thanks a lot ladies: for being part of the tour and to Evi, Els and Saskia for the test & tour!!! Your enthusiasm is so precious!
Wat een pareltjes allemaal!
Such kind words, Marte, Thanks! But the pleasure’s all mine!
Thanks for having me Marte. And it’s probably a good guess that i’m sewing our own coats from now on… except for myself, unless … ;)
