Louisa meets Swing skirt

As you might already have seen from the title, this dress is a mix of two patterns: the Louisa dress and the Swing skirt.
I used the body of the Louisa dress and cut it a few inches below the armholes. And I used the Swing skirt pattern for the skirt, extended it to the desired length. I really loved how it turned out!
You can see more pics and the details of the dress on my blog. Nutta!:

    This is so sweet!

  • What a great idea !!! I think I’ll use it for the next dress I’ll make for my daughter Marie. She has quit a belly, so this will be perfect for her !
I also participate in the contest (The Louikea dress), but you have my vote !

Love your combination of the 2 patterns! You might not believe it, but I also wanted to created a dress by combining both patterns! Love the result!
