This birds dress is a combination of the Mara blouse and Lotta dress patterns. The skirt is originated from the Lotta dress pattern where I opted for the side seam pockets. For the bodice I used the Mara pattern, closed the front yoke and combined it with the Lotta neckline. At the back I opened the bodice and put in an invisible zipper.
For sure the biggest challenge of all was to make my 1,5 year old daughter to strike a pose. But who can blame her not to sit still when wearing this playful dress?
