Today I can finally present you my first Frederique dress! Yes! I’ve been really looking forward to this moment. Always exciting to read the first reactions.
I love wrap dresses a lot and when I show this model to my clients at the Stoffenspektakel fairs, I always get a lot of positive reactions. That’s why I was thinking: why design make one for bigger sizes?
This first option (I have two more dresses!) includes a round collar, princess seams and integrated pockets. The dress closes with a large bow at the back.
For this dress I up-cycled two large pillow cases from the thrift store. I bought them together with Nina and at first I asked her if she was interested in this fabric. She declined… I was fairly happy that she did. Oops…
I could just squeeze out a Frederique dress for Lisa & Nore so I’m happy that I used the fabric straight away.
Don’t you think Lisa looks so great with these colours? I hope spring will be in town soon.
How about you? Do you like the Frederique dress? I have sewn two more dresses with the same pattern that I will present to you this and next week. The pattern will be released on the 15th of Februari. In 9 days. Let’s start the count down.
By the way: together with the Frederique I will also launch the Lewis coat pattern on paper. Stay tuned!
