Originally my plan was to make a Mara vest. I was however a bit stuck on the choice of fabric and by the time I decided to go for jeans, it turned out to be more like a jacket.
To begin with I opened the front bodice and sewed in a visible zipper. Next I divided the back bodice in two and added a pleat in the lower part. It turned out to be a perfect mid-season jacket with a vintage look. Let’s hope winter will not be knocking on our doors too soon…
