Mini Susanne with style!

By 01/03/2016Blog

From the moment I was drawing the first Susanne for myself, I knew this cardigan would also be appreciated by my girls. So I decided for the first time to launch two patterns at once. Or better: one pattern in two size ranges… Both come with exactly the same options. So all pictures you see for the girls, can be sewn for women & teens too and visa versa.

Today I’m showing you the first mini Susanne. A short version sewn with two great fabrics bought at Cas & Nina.

The front panels are doubled. In between I added some piping. Elastic one of course. ;) In comparison to this option, you can use any type of stretch fabric here. Or should I say, two fabrics that match beautifully.

At the back (at the inside) the raw edge is finished with a facing. Topstitched with a beautiful stitch (one of those stitches I never ever used before on my machine with I don’t know… 200 stitches?). I love the extra special touch. Ok, I also admit that using this stitch saves me time because I don’t need to switch to my twin needle! Haha…
