One pattern, two styles!

On this typical Belgian rainy day, why not share my most colourful dress with you? I got to know this Maggie Mae dress pattern by Shwin & Shwin through Mary Jo’s blog: all this for them! When I saw her version of this dress I was really impressed. What a cute little girl with such a adorable little dress. ‘I also want to make this pattern’ was my very first reaction and when I started thinking about fabric combinations, I thought: it would be nice to show two totally different results made with one pattern’. When my version of the dress was finished, I was really happy with the result. (Sorry to say so…) I love the pattern sooooo much. It’s en easy project with a stunning result. The instructions are very clear so any sewist should be able to make this beauty! I hope you are convinced enough to just buy the pattern? I surely recommend this one if your looking for a new project! Before I forget to mention: I bought this two lovely fabrics at Veritas (from Free Spirit). The buttons are from Strass.
