On this typical Belgian rainy day, why not share my most colourful dress with you? I got to know this Maggie Mae dress pattern by Shwin & Shwin through Mary Jo’s blog: all this for them! When I saw her version of this dress I was really impressed. What a cute little girl with such a adorable little dress. ‘I also want to make this pattern’ was my very first reaction and when I started thinking about fabric combinations, I thought: it would be nice to show two totally different results made with one pattern’. So ‘one pattern, two styles’ is a new concept presented here! Also check out ‘All This For Them’ because I got the opportunity to guest post at her blog today! Thanks a lot.
Later this week Mary Jo will also present her version of my Charles’ pants on my blog. I’m really curious to see what she’s about to create at this moment. Make sure to check it later this week! I’ll be happy to show Belgium her work!

Supermooi, ik heb het meteen gepind. En ik vind jouw versie eigenlijk mooier dan de originele :-)
Visiting you from Sew Chatty. This is so well made. I love them both. See my post on teaching your children to sew:
Marte, again what a lovely dress! You are SO VERY talented! And thank you for including pics of my little girl in her dress. :) I gotta get to work on those pants… I’m loving them so far! :)
Both dresses are really lovely. I love the fabrics you used with the first one. And I love a dress with pockets! I’m pinning this!
