Pattern launch: the Nore dress for teens and women

By Wednesday,28 June,2017Blog

Oh what a special day! Let’s celebrate the release of my 20th paper pattern! It’s unbelievable but true. Today I’m launching the Nore dress for teens & women. It starts for teens from 12yo till size 50.

As you might have noticed already this pattern includes even more options than the Nore pattern for kids. Let’s have a look at the cocoon dress options again. This is what I call view A. It includes two front panels. With of without inserts (and integrated pockets) and three back options: plain, with inserts again or split in two.

In the women version of the Nore dress I included 3 ways to finish the sleeves: wide cuffs, a small sleeve band or long sleeves. And because some of you requested this extra deatil I included the opportunity to choose for a deeper and wider neckline.

The first view (A) can be turned into a sweater and nightgown too.

If you sew the basic dress or top you can choose knit or woven fabrics. With the inserts you can even combine both.

Besides the cocoon dress (= kids Nore dress), it also includes a new dress with a waistband and A-line skirt. (=View B) I got the idea from the Julia dress hack and after my first test I just had to include this option in the final pattern.

The possibilities are endless and that’s what I also noticed while developing the pattern. I’m glad that all pieces fall into place again. It’s always a big assignment, but in the end the satisfaction is just so great. Yes!

I want to thank my testers again. It’s just so amazing how motivated they are. I can count on them over and over again. THANKS LADIES!!!

If you like my new pattern, you can buy it as a PDF or on paper. Till the end of the July you get a 10% discount with the code 10offnore. Don’t forget that we have free shipping on paper patterns and wallet kits when you spend over 30euro (valid to Belgium and the neighbour countries).

If you share your Nore dress, T-shirt, top, sweater or nightgown, you may use the hashtag #noredresstshirt. Enjoy sewing!

By the way: in this blogpost I only show the pictures from the previous blogposts. The coming days I will spam you with more creations. For a preview, you can scroll through the pictures on the product page. ;)
