Pattern tour day 3: Frances Suzanne

Ashley from Frances Suzanne has also sewn her great version of the Swing skirt during the test phase! Ashley helped me out not only with testing the pattern but also with finding the perfect wordings for the instructions. I can’t stress enough how helpful she was! And although I don’t know her personally I have the impression that she is a very funny person! Before editing almost my whole instructions (which was extremely useful) she wrote this funny sentence: I’ll warn you – when we pattern test we have a tendency to be VERY nit picky. MOST of my suggestions, are only suggestions, NOT ‘wow, this was totally wrong’. Thanks Ashley, I really appreciate your help and honesty!

And before posting this message I already had a glimpse at their post: you have to read it! It’s just so funny… Of course they can test again for me!

  • Well, if we had nit-picked our sewing like we did the directions…we would have been in much better shape :)! Thanks for ‘holding our hands across the ocean’ through the sewing process. The pattern you designed is fabulous!! Still in love with the lines of it….

  • Ha ha. I’m the same, wondering if they want to know that there’s a misplaced apostrophe in a sentence or should I just sew the thing! The skirt looks fantastic.
