Suz from Sewpony is probably the person that I have to thank most for helping me during the development of the Mara pattern. After the pattern test, I only needed to make some minor changes. I was so happy that the overall fit was perfect for every one! That was my first concern….
The butterfly sleeve needed some extra attention and I adjusted this sleeve option a little bit. But after Suz made her Mara, it appeared to be wrong. OMG, I was so embarrassed but happy that she noticed! Pattern drawing is a long and sometimes difficult process, so it can be really tricky. Especially if you still make changes after the test. But after some ‘ping pong mails’ with Suz, it got solved. Thanks again Suz for your help! I truly appreciate it.
At the end Suz ended up making a flutter sleeve version in stead. The first flutter sleeve Mara of this tour! I’m happy that she will show you totally different Mara, again! Hop over to Sewpony and admire this cute-little-flutter-sleeve-Mara-blouse.

Oh can’t wait to see your next version! I already bought some fabric to make your Debbie dress. I hope to find some time to sew this weekend. But just like you: I’m drawing my next pattern at the moment. Why does a day doesn’t count more hours!? M
I love seeing everyone work together and support each other in the blogging world. It’s really encouraging!
