Selfish sewing week: big shopper

To relax a little I’ve sewn a project for myself! At Sewpony, I read about the Selfish sewing week organised by Imagine Gnats. Doing something for myself sounded great, so I did! Since I love this fabric combination so much on the girls’ Maggie Mae dress, I choose to use the rest of the fabric for myself. That’s selfish, right!? The fabrics are both from Free Spirit, the pattern is the big reversible shopper by Amy Butler.

Nice handles with some pink fleece inside, to make it extra soft! No guys, you can’t see the fleece, so perfect to get rid of some left overs. I only forgot to match the direction of the main fabric in all the panels. The side panels are different from the main ones. But I think the big shopper is still a beauty. What do you think Urs (Romanian for bear)? Comfy?
