Stoffbüro – A Back-to-the-roots-Mara

Hello everybody, I’m Catrin and I blog at :: stoffbüro :: . The Mara Blouse pattern excited me from the very first look I took at it – so this is my thank-you to Marte for having me in this Mara action: the best opportunity to finally sew this blouse. Sewing turned out to be a back-to-the-roots-project, since my very first steps at the sewing machine were girl’s tunics and blouses from woven fabrics, with cute details. The Mara Blouse has it all in a convincingly composed way: It has pintucks, it has that front yoke, it has piping and these button loops that for me are the true “dot on the i”. For my “nostalgic” project I chose a nostalgic and folkloristic organic fabric from Windham Fabrics. I invite you to see more pictures of this autumn version on my blog ! I’m looking forward to seeing you over at :: stoffbüro :: !
