Today the 3rd issue of STYLO magazine has been released. Together with Sharon and Eva, I got the opportunity to represent Belgium! I choose to sew two of my own favourite patterns. The popular Louisa and my latest pattern, the Charles pants / dungarees.
We had to link our creations to a book, so I chose ‘press here‘ by Hervé Tullet (Het boek in Dutch). I’m not sure, but I think I got to know this book through Hayley from The Mousehouse creations. I used my precious Nani Iro fabric that I bought in Berlin for both my creations. The dots look exactly like the ones in the book! The link can’t be more obvious I guess. When you have kids that are about 2 – 3 years old, I can surely recommend you to buy this book. It’s amazing! Just have a look at the video and I’m sure you’ll be convinced!
I don’t think these pictures need a lot of explanation? Nore was having fun playing with Bjorn’s antique little camera. We went to the park and she stopped every where to take pictures. Afterwards we spotted two squirrels, so she decided to make a bed for them with branches from the wood. Lucky squirrels!
LISA – Louisa dress
Lisa was more into jumping. Louisa, Lisa and a lot of fun! Nothing more I need to add… :)
A lot of people still seem to be surprised that I have twins. The prove! :) I hardly take pictures of both of them together… Just too difficult! Except when they are ‘reading’ Tullet! :)
When you’re new to my blog: welcome! I’m offering a 10% discount on my Louisa & Charles pattern to celebrate my participation to STYLO magazine. Use the code CHARLES-LOUISA-STYLO in my shop till the 16th of November.
