Even before I’d sewn the very first Nore dress for myself, I knew that I wanted to hack my own pattern by combining it with the free A-line skirt that I drew for the Julia dress. Oh I love the result. It’s a totally different dress than the first one I showed you, don’t you think?
On a night out with Catherine, I was wearing this dress and she asked me to add this option to the pattern. So I did!
After I already wore the dress a couple of times, I cut the skirt off, added pockets and attached it again. While doing so I took new pictures for the instructions. The VIEW B is now part of the pattern. Not as a hack, but really as an extra option. Hooray! I’m glad that Catherine convinced me to add the option AND that I took the effort to add pockets. No Compagnie M. pattern without pockets, right?
And the good think about this skirt? You can mix & match it with the Julia sweater.
The fabric is a very special one from ‘In den beer’. I treasured it for a while and I’m glad I did. I kind of used all my favourite ‘In de beer’ fabrics for my new project. More details will follow soon!
The front and back of the fabric have a different structure, that’s why I turned the fabric for the cuffs, waistband and hem (I added a small hemband).
Which option do you like most? Or maybe you’ll sew all of them? That’s maybe the best idea! ;)

Het bovenstukje is anders, maar voor de rest is het wel een gelijkaardig patroon. Gaandeweg door mijn eigen patronen te combineren, hiernaar geëvolueerd. :)

Dat is de beste optie. Ik zie ook overal Nore jurken nu. Vreemd he. :) Misschien omdat ineens zoveel stoffen mogelijk zijn?

Dat is exact wat mijn mama ook zei: het ziet er chique uit, maar toch comfortabel. Ze begon zelfs mensen op straat aan te spreken en te stoefen. Grappig en wat vreemd tegelijk! :) :)

Grote fan van dat stofje zeg! Bij In den Beer weet ik nooit goed waar te kijken, dus zoek ik niet en ontsnappen al deze pareltjes aan mijn aandacht ;).
Je liet je alleszins goed gaan met de opties, alweer een erg veelzijdig patroon ♥
Ja, ik vind het ook wel een pracht stofje. :) Het is geen gemakkelijke winkel die In den Beer. Da’s waar. En je moet ook goed oppassen met de kwaliteit van oudere stofjes. Maar als je geluk hebt, dan kan je er wel pareltjes vinden. Ik ben blij dat alles nu getekend en getest is. Het was een gigaproject!
