I’ve had this pattern since it came out and been meaning to try it out forever – the final day of the contest seemed the perfect time to do it. I started cutting last night around 10pm and – with a few breaks for sleeping, eating and an afternoon walk – finished at 6pm this evening. Just in time (I hope!).
I loved this pattern and will definitely do it again. I used the new Floratopia corduroy and Cirrus Solids in Lava, both from Cloud9 Fabrics. In hindsight, I wished I hadn’t decided to try including piping, pockets and lining on the first go, but I do love the result. We did a rushed photoshoot in the fluorescent light of the nearby graffit’d tunnel – the right urban feel for this Nina.
