After the release of the Louisa dress, I didn’t know what type of pattern to choose next. A sweater kept crossing my mind so I’ve just sewn a quick test. This is only a 1,5 hour project (pattern drawing included). So nothing complicated yet. I’m just playing with the idea of making a sweater with dolman sleeves & a unique way to close it.
Do you see what I see: attach a circular skirt to this sweater and you have a nice dress! So more tests wil be organised here and when I like the idea, I might draw a pattern with several options.
Went fabric shopping yesterday to make some more test versions and I hope that my new employee ‘Julia’ is willing to show them in a couple of days! Don’t stress: these buttons are all fake.

Lol for the ‘Julia was cooperating very well’! Looking promising! En laat ik daar gisteren toch wel het perfecte stofje voor gekocht hebben. Maar ik weet niet of ik geduld genboeg ga hebben om er nog niet in te knippen :)

Ja, dat patroontje zie ik ook wel zitten en evt ook om te testen. De andere aangekochte patroontjes zijn mooi gelukt en passen perfect.

Thanks all for your lovely comments! The next version (more sophisticated design) of this basic sweater is ready to be sewn. I hope to show you the newt option soon!
