I wanted to make a straight forward beautiful Louisa coat with one amazing detail. To make a bow closure I glued the Louisa pocket to the zipper flap and cut this pattern piece as one out of my fabric. When you close the coat you get a cute little bow! I combined a superbe pink wool with bronze paspel at the bow, zipper flap and pockets in the side seams. The bronze sleeve cuffs add the final bit of sparkle. The Louisa coat is totally approved by my daughter: pink, bling bling, a bow and what she loves most is the übercute quilted lining. She turns 3y on the 7th of December, the day the winner will be announced… what an unforgettable present would that be :-)
