Earlier this year, I was so happy to have the opportunity to be one of Marthe’s testers for her new Louisa Coat.

It was my very first time to sew a coat … but thanks to Marthe I managed to sew it without any trouble.

For my coat, I decided to use a long time treasured fabric, a brushed cotton by Nani Iro. It really was love at first sight and I was even happier to notice that the color matches perfectly with Oona’s skin.

For my Louisa Coat, I combined the fabric with some metallic old rose piping, ’cause every girl needs a little bling from time to time. Inside, I preferred keeping things simple as my outside was already more peculiar than most coats: I chose a beige fabric with little pink dots.

We are very happy with this coat. Since the day of the photoshoot, Oona has refused to wear any other coat. That says enough, isn’t it?
